There's just no end to the historical moments you can have in the beautiful Northeast!! We ate lunch today at the White Horse Tavern in Newport....America's oldest tavern! I'd never even thought about the fact that America had an oldest tavern....but, by golly we do! And it wasn't bad!

I know it looks like we were the only ones brave enough to eat in a place this old, but I swear there were other people there!!
fun stuff. bet it was a short wine list. have you been to McSorley's Old Ale house in NYC? It's supposed to be the oldest bar in the city... pretty cool.
